My claim on thee is great, it cannot be forgotten. They are written in a style such that the reader feels that God is addressing him or her in first person. They distill basic spiritual truths into short, sweet, and poetic prose. ![]() In (or around) 1857 the founder of the Bahá’í Faith, Bahá’u’lláh, revealed a set of writings that are collectively known as the Hidden Words.
